THE WORLD'S BIGGEST

ONLINE FASHION SHOW

With many of us living under lockdown and in isolation, we wanted to find a way to connect our community across the globe, and to create a joyful space celebrating women, lingerie and resilience.

So we put a call out on our social media asking if anyone wanted to be involved in a top secret project... We were looking for the boldest and the bravest, and we knew our Instagram family wouldn’t disappoint. Over one thousand submissions later we realised that this was going to be bigger than any of us could have imagined!

After several zoom meetings (and countless cups of coffee) our creative directors reached out to a stunning and diverse mix of women. We can now reveal that we have created the World’s Biggest Online Fashion Show, in which over two hundred models #StrikeAPose.

Prepare to see struts, spins and plenty of sass, with each model filming themselves walking in Bluebella lingerie down the #VirtualRunway. Together we created catwalks out of bedrooms, hallways and kitchens from all over the world as we stay at home to stay safe.

Women from all over the world took part in this project, from the UK and the US, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, Hong Kong, Argentina, Hawaii and more. It’s a truly global celebration of women and lingerie, and a beautiful show of solidarity during these strange times.

This has been one of our biggest, boldest and most fabulous projects to date. We even commissioned our own bespoke music for our models to walk to. If that’s not #extra, we don’t know what is. And whilst this bop will be stuck in our heads for days, the main thing we’ll be taking from this project is the incredible love and support shown by our self-christened “Bluebells”. The WhatsApp chat between the women has been uplifting, generous and filled with fun, covering everything from open conversations about body image to hilarious anecdotes and pictures of pets.
